About 3rd Coast

3rd Coast Research provides candidates and private interests with research, rapid response and communications support. The firm has research experience with Democratic campaigns in federal, state and local elections. Additionally, 3rd Coast Research has worked with corporations, labor unions and interest groups on policy research, competitive intelligence and public affairs.

Will Caskey, Principal

Will Caskey Will brings eight years of corporate and political research to campaign consulting.  During the 2008 election cycle, his work assisted victories in several congressional campaigns, including freshman Donna Edwards and Bill Foster.  Prior to founding 3rd Coast Research, Will worked with one of the top Democratic research firms in the country. His experience also includes research work for Witt/Kieffer, a premier executive recruiting firm for healthcare, higher education and non-profit institutions. Will graduated with honors from the University of Southern California, and received a master’s degree in social science from the University of Chicago.

Ryan Krueger, Research Director

Ryan Krueger Ryan is on his second cycle with 3rd Coast Research.  Prior to moving to Chicago, Ryan worked for The Shop Consulting, a political consulting firm, as well as a successful Congressional campaign, a Wisconsin Trade Association and a U.S. Senate office. Ryan graduated with distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with degrees in political science and legal studies and a certificate in criminal justice.

Iryna Bogaluslavska, Research Analyst

Iryna came to 3rd Coast Research in late 2009.  She has conducted marketing research projects on companies including United Airlines and Levi Strauss.  Iryna graduated with honors from DePaul University with a BA in Marketing and Management.

Elizabeth Balderas, Research Analyst

Liz came to 3rd Coast Research in late 2009.  She is pursuing degrees in Economics and International Studies and will graduate in May of 2010.  Prior to working at 3CR, Liz was a research intern with the R.O.S.A. Land legal project.  In addition to working at 3CR, Liz tutors inner-city children in Math and English.

Hsu and Rezko, Office Mascots

Hsu & Rezko the 3rd Coast Mascots Hsu and Rezko joined 3rd Coast Research in July 2008. They have brought insatiable curiosity and enthusiasm for hunting to the research team. In addition to monitoring all insect activity in the office, they test the suitability of all chairs, keyboards and the sofa.
